Sediq Shabab (sometimes spelled Sediq Shubab) is a singer and Instagram.[1] figure originally from Afghanistan and now living in Germany.
Both Sediq and his brother Tahir Shabab, who was a judge on Season 9 of Afghan Star, hail from a military family from the Panjshir province[2] but broke with tradition to become musicians.
Sediq has recorded more than two dozen albums featuring traditional songs in Farsi, Pashto, Uzbek and Urdu and contemporary music in a range of languages.
Many of his contemporary tracks deal with the Afghan War and the impact on his home country.
Sediq Shabab is a musician with a base in Germany who specializes in pop music, particularly Arabic pop.
