Meher Malik is the Founder & Director of Banjara School Of Dance – India's largest belly dance school.

A dance enthusiast since childhood, she had started learning Bharatanatyam at a young age and entered her first dance competition at 13.

The latter was a dance reality series judged by famous Hrithik Roshan, Vaibhavi Merchant and Farah Khan. She learned traditional Egyptian belly dancing when she stayed in Middle Asia for 17 years.

She mixes Egyptian belly dancing with Bollywood moves and songs and turned a new style that got her many fans in India within a short time.

In an interview, she told that she came to India to study Fashion designing in NIFT but dropped out in 3 months of being there because she did not like the experience. She entered the profession of dancing, which was not planned at all by her.
