This book, of the same title, collects together fifty-some-odd of those articles, written between the early 1990s and the early 2000s, and organizes them into sections based on subject matter: becoming a writer, work habits, writing non-fiction, and so on.
As one might expect, it's a mixed bag, and what appeals to me might not appeal to another reader, and vice versa. Naturally all of it is well-written, and both well-known and more obscure writers are represented in equal measure.
As a writer myself, I am of the opinion that the artistic process is mysterious enough in its basic form without mystifying it further when trying to describe it.
